As a Teaching and Learning Manager, you will work collaboratively with your team to build on the success of the Construction curriculum, whilst ensuring the continued development and growth of the area which will enable student needs to be met through inclusive high-quality learning and provision. The work you do with your team will ensure that the student journey at Brighton MET College is the best it can possibly be and give the students a learning experience they will remember.

In addition, this post will also have the exciting remit to help develop a new and innovative green technologies curriculum that will support full time learners, apprenticeships and current industry professionals to upskill in this rapidly expanding field.

As a Teaching and Learning Manager, you will also have a positive impact on staff within your curriculum team. You will support staff to enhance and improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment by coaching and providing advice, whilst encouraging and supporting risk taking and innovation.

Although primarily a management position, the Teaching and Learning Manager role requires you to teach 3 hours per week, which will enable you to lead by example and ensure you are able to continue your teaching directly with students that inspired you to start your teaching career in the first place.

Our Teaching and Learning Manager will hold a full teaching qualification and an Assessor Award. You will bring a wealth of teaching experience from the Further Education sector and be able to demonstrate up-to-date teaching methodologies.
