An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client in Newport for a Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.
Our client is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead on the continued financial growth of the company, and to manage the financial reporting at senior level.
The role is based on site at the company's state of the art head office in Newport, and you will be part of an award-winning manufacturing business with an excellent culture.
Salary will be circa £40,000 depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and the opportunity to develop and grow quickly within the company.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage financial accounting processes to produce accurate financial reporting.
- Proficiently use Xero within finance and Manu in production activities.
- Conduct financial analysis to improve financial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets and forecasts.
- Management of product costing and pricing matrix to ensure cost reduction.
- Researching and reporting on business performance and competitor analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable processes and ensure timely payments.
- Drive financial management activities to support business growth.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CMA certification would be a great advantage.
- Experience in financial accounting and reporting within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Proactive and tech-savvy, with a passion for finance.
- Strong proficiency with computers and experience using accounting software such as Xero, Manu, Microsoft, and other industry-standard tools.
