Primary job role

  • Become a Key Member of the commercial team.
  • Provide full commercial, contractual, and pricing support to the operating business.
  • To administer and manage commercial contracts through negotiation to execution.
  • Commercial lead in the support to the UK markets for Sale and Rental business.
  • Manage cross-functional co-ordination of stakeholders in bid process.

Main responsibilities and duties of the position

  • Support new and existing business within the UK markets.
  • Establish sales targets with the Business Development Manager and leadership team for UK markets.
  • Lead and drive accurate and consistent winning bids, proposals, presentations, and recommendations to the senior leadership team.
  • Manage risk assessments and mitigation for bids and proposals, and for new business initiatives.
  • Remain aware of the latest market trends, sectors, and developments, and represent the company at industry events when required.
  • Lead the negotiation of contractual terms & conditions and commercial reviews for new business opportunities.
  • Prepare price strategy, benchmarking, and full cost estimation.
  • Ensure that all business is conducted ethically and always complies with the company's Business Ethics and Conduct Policy.
  • Maintain client commercial contact on key projects to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

  • Degree educated or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in a UK construction service or commercial rental business capacity.
  • Experience in contracts terms and conditions, including NEC3 & 4 Suite of contracts, JCT, CPA or similar.
  • Ability to present to leadership.
  • Excellent IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, CRM) is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as attention to detail is important.
