For the successful Stock Controller our client is offering:
- Salary £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00
- Permanent position
- Benefits: 20 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension
The role - Stock Controller:
- Responsible for acting as a first point of contact for customers regarding new orders and existing orders
- Raise new purchase orders, checking stock availability and delivery timescales
- Plan the dispatch of products: create picking lists and allocating products to couriers
- Work closely with the warehouse team for the intake of stock and accurate creation of stock reports on MS Excel and SAP
- Assist with customer product returns and apply repairs where necessary
- Assist customers over the phone with enquiries about their products whilst offering technical / parts advice to apply fixes over the phone
- Testing new products and assisting the wider team with design, innovative new ideas, fault finding and solutions
What our client is looking for in a Stock Controller:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing / warehouse environment in a stock control / stock administration role - ESSENTIAL
- Order Management & Dispatch Process Knowledge - ESSENTIAL
- SAP knowledge - DESIREABLE
- Driver License and Own Transport
- Technical Flair: Technical, Mechanical Qualifications / NVQs would be an advantage
