Job Description:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with Autism
- Assist with the implementation of individualised learning plans and ECHPs
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons
- Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff members
- Contribute to daily briefings and planning meetings
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere that supports student development
Person Specification:
- Experience working with students with SEND, particularly Autism, is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to support and engage students in creative learning activities
- Collaborative approach to working with teachers and staff
- Commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Enthusiasm for contributing to the school's community and ongoing professional development
