We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team and help maintain high standards of operational excellence.

Job Description: The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of all electrical systems and equipment in our production facility. This role involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to support our production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues promptly to reduce production downtime.
  • Implement electrical upgrades and modifications to enhance system performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams to maintain optimal equipment performance.
  • Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with PLCs, control systems, and motor controls.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in PLC programming or other specialized electrical training.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Background in high-speed production environments.
