Reed Secure are working with Police Forces, who are looking to recruit Data and Performance analyst.
- Pay rate - PAYE - £20.08
- 6 months with potential of being extended.
- Main location: SE1
- Hybrid working - minimum 3 days a week work from Office (first week's office based only)
- SC clearance desirable for the role.
- Proposed start date aims as soon as SC vetting is granted (approximately up to 6 months depending on your case complexity)
Principle Responsibilities:
- Work with portfolio leads on developing a new performance framework to create meaningful indicators of good performance.
- Play a leading role in the Monthly and Quarterly Performance Reviews which will involve presenting analytical findings to identify trends, forecast future implications and highlight areas of good or poor performance to Senior Leaders. Key responsibilities will also include meeting planning, document collation, action recording and circulation.
- Interpret a wide range of information in a creative and meaningful way in order to continuously improve the performance framework, adapting products created as priorities change.
- Lead on the publishing of the monthly Performance Pack using IT packages, particularly Excel and Tableau/PowerBI. Specific tasks include cleaning data, merging data sources, using formulas to manipulate data and use of Tableau to create data visualisation products suitable for the audience.
- Manage performance enquiries from Inspector level and above. Be able to explain complex data sets in a way which is accessible to all roles and ranks.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders in order to develop and sustain appropriate processes for the receipt, storage and organisation of information.
- Review data regularly to ensure that information received from various sources is consistent and accurate, ensuring data held complies with GDPR obligations.
Essential Knowledge
Knowledge of general software packages, such as, Word, Excel & Outlook, Power BI and Tableau.
