Business Analyst

Sewell Wallis are working with a well established company based on the outskirts of Leeds that are looking for a Business Analyst to join them on a 6 month contract basis.

This would suit someone who is part-qualified and has strong analytical skills. It is an excellent opportunity to add to your CV and build upon your skills within a reputable company!

What will you be doing?

  • Identify risks and provide recommendations for appropriate actions.
  • Produce monthly performance reports.
  • Suggest improvements to working practices when necessary.
  • Work closely with finance, customer services, sales, and supply chain teams.
  • Analyse and report on the performance of debtor and creditor balances.
  • Implement controls to ensure adherence to expected service levels.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and AS400.
  • Experience in cash flow reporting.
  • Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) or qualified by experience (QBE).
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of core business processes.
