**Overview
An exciting temporary to permanent opportunity has become available within a well-known business, based just outside of Birmingham for a Finance Assistant. This role will be supporting the finance department with a range of tasks including but not limited to; purchase ledger, sales ledger, banking and some month end. The reason this position has become available is due to growth within the business and the team needing an extra set of hands to help support with the work load.
The reason this position is so exciting is because there is very much a chance that if you get in there and make a big enough splash, that you could be offered some exciting progression opportunities within this business - due to the size of the business and their constant growth, anything is possible. The ideal candidate will have had exposure to finance, additionally you will need to be on a short notice or even better, be immediately available.
**Skills required
- Have had previous exposure to finance work (such as invoicing and reconciliations).
- Be immediately available or on a short notice.
- Be a strong communicator, because you will be working with a range of departments within the business, excellent communication skills are going to be key.
- Be confident on excel, this position requires the successful person to manage large data sets through excel so being confident on excel is a requirement.
