Our client is looking for an Experienced 26T (CLASS 2) Driver to join their team in Dorset!
As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting waste to
various locations. This position requires strong communication skills,
mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate different types of vehicles.
Pay
£12.39 per hour
Hours
- Standard working pattern: 06:00 - 13:30 (13:00 Friday)
The role of a Class 2 Driver
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient delivery
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Bank holiday working could be a requirement (1.5x pay increase)
Requirements:
- Must hold a minimum Category C (26T) CLASS 2 driving licence, have a current digital tachograph card and evidence of a completed Drivers CPC qualification is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to lift heavy objects and handle physical demands of the job
- High level of attention to detail and safety consciousness
- PPE Mid-sole safety shoes
- To conform with strict health and safety requirements, the role is subject to random and regular drug testing
