Reed Business Support are incredibly excited to be working with national manufacturing company in their search for Sales Estimator based in Chesterfield, this is the perfect opportunity for an individual who has previous experience in administration and office efficiency who has a hunger to grow and develop.

About the role:

  • Prepare quotations for enquiries and tenders received for all non-standard, standard and export products
  • Ability to read confidently architectural and detail engineering drawings
  • Recognise opportunities to promote suitable products from the full group product portfolio and value engineer specifications to achieve our strategic growth targets
  • Responsibility to determine practicality on enquiry for non-standard product manufacture
  • Responsible for clear and accurate quotations / tenders being raised, returned to the customer, in agreed priority order, and within required time limits all as agreed with the customer
  • Responsible for the maintenance of records associated with the CRM & ERP systems
  • Liaison with the relevant Specification Sales Managers (internal & external) to ensure quotations best meet the needs of the customer
  • Preparation of cost estimates of products under development as and when required
  • To work closely with the external sales team, including maintaining and updating our SAP/CRM database
  • Making outbound and receiving inbound calls, promoting sales campaigns
  • Giving prices to customers over the phone
  • Answering simple technical enquiries and sending sales information on our products
  • Provide support to the sales office where required in periods of holidays and absence
  • Conduct such other reasonable duties as requested by the management team

About you:

  • Previous sales administration experience or a similar environment
  • Proven customer service delivery
  • Knowledge in the Microsoft Office Package
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Strong team player
  • Familiar with ERP & CRM (SAP) systems would be an advantage but inhouse training will be provided
