IT SYSTEM ENGINEER/SPECIALIST
OR GRADUATE TRAINEE
Our client based in Dumfries, Southwest Scotland, are currently looking to recruit an IT Systems Engineer.
As an innovation leader, they are looking for an ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individual to join their team, working full-time from the Dumfries office.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth implementation of the SAP S/4 Hana ERP system across the region and will provide continuous support for their systems.
Reporting to the IT Systems & Services Program Manager, the ideal candidate will be instrumental in taking hands-on approach in the maintenance and optimization of key hardware and software within operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support a variety of Manufacturing IT and OT hardware and software applications.
- Ensure seamless operation of applications including MES, QMS, CMMS, SCADA, among others.
- Oversee and assist with technology stacks including Wonderware/Aveva Intouch/Historian, Microsoft as well as SAP Manufacturing, SAP PM, SAP QM.
- Provide support for the SAP S/4 Hana project team.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
- Recent graduates with relevant degrees or individuals with up to 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing IT/OT support setting.
Skills:
- A solid foundation in industrial/manufacturing systems, especially Wonderware/Aveva and Microsoft technologies including SQL Databases
- Keen understanding of IT/OT Manufacturing applications, including SAP Manufacturing systems.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing operations and processes.
