Commissioning Manager

We are looking for an experienced candidate to work for a Local Authority to support their 'Live Well' Programme of work.

To be able undertake this work, we are seeking a candidate with:

1. Experience of tendering, from service design to implementation, which is essential.

2. Demonstrable commissioning experience in Adults social care essential.

3. Specific experience within Working Age Adults.

4. Knowledge and experience of Transforming Care.

5. Specific experience of commissioning in adult social care desirable. The role will focus on specific Strategic Commissioning Reviews including Day Services and Working Age Residential. The post is inside IR35 and work is on a hybrid basis for 37 hours a week during core hours between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday.

The requirement to come into the office or travel to locations around the city when required (no more than once a week)
