Role Overview:
As a Care Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of their care team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support, promoting the well-being and independence of the residents. You will lead by example, providing guidance, support, and training to their care staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of care staff, ensuring they deliver exceptional care and support.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes residents' independence and choice.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of care in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing support and development opportunities for staff.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Assist with scheduling and ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet residents' needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a supported living or care environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle challenging situations.
- A valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle for work purposes.
