Transport General Manager - Supply Chain & Logistics - Staffordshire - Up to £90,000
About The Company
Our client is a leading third party logistics (3PL) provider in the UK who put their customers at the heart of everything they do. They are seeking a talented seasoned Transport General Manager with a proven track record in managing Transport Operations.
You will lead their operation and team across 3 main sites and 4 satellite sites. This role is very much around management style, this is a great opportunity to go in and change the new TMS structure for this account.
You will travel across 3 main sites weekly with one WFH.
This is a days based role no call out, Monday to Friday.

Transport General Manager - Requirements
- Strong Transport General Manager experience within 3PL desired
- Must be confident to present to large numbers of people so being a SME in this field of transport is essential.
- Must have strong commercial acumen and PNL experience.
- Experience of having a positive relationship with Unions is essential
- Strong people management skills
Transport General Manager - Responsibilities
- Responsible for being part of the strategic changes across this account
- Building relationships with 3rd part hauliers
- Responsible for 4 direct reports and 341 indirect reports
- Responsible for the fleet if over 500 vehicles
- Able to implement change positively across the account
- Maintain excellent employee engagement
