Storekeeper
- Pay Rate: £13.31 per hour (PAYE)

Manchester Equipment and Adaptations Partnership, part of the Families, Health and Wellbeing team, are looking for a dedicated Storekeeper to support a high-quality warehousing facility. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the Community Equipment Warehouse, including tasks such as storage, decontamination, recycling, and deliveries.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Maintain accurate records of assets within the warehouse, monitoring stock levels to ensure availability and replenishing stock as necessary.
- Decontaminate and recycle returned equipment effectively.
- Provide front line support to the transport contractor, including the loading and unloading of transport vehicles.
- Maintain a safe, tidy working environment, ensuring items are stored and labelled as per the manufacturer's instructions and that Health & Safety legislation is complied with.
- Deliver a high-quality customer-focused service, responding positively and effectively to all customers.
- Ensure deadlines and targets set for the service are met.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to organise multiple tasks effectively and allocate time and energy according to task complexity and priority.
- Capable of making effective decisions on a day-to-day basis, taking ownership of decisions, and demonstrating sound judgement in escalating issues where necessary.
- Logical thinking and the ability to explain reasoning behind decisions or actions taken.
- A current licence to operate a counterbalance battery-operated fork-lift truck is desirable.
