Bristow Holland is seeking a skilled IT Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic organisation based in Naas. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will play a key role in supporting core infrastructure, business applications, and end-user services. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with various IT teams, manage a diverse workload, and contribute to both ongoing operations and innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Provide support for end-user services including M365, thin clients, printers, desktop OS, patching, access control, file and data management, voice services, UCaaS, and business applications.
- Collaboration & Incident Resolution: Partner with IT teams and third-party vendors to implement changes and resolve incidents effectively. Ensure timely and accurate communication throughout the process.
- Knowledge Management: Create and maintain knowledge base articles, manage asset inventories, and support major incident and problem management processes.
- Service Improvement: Develop and document processes and procedures, implement approved solutions, and contribute to ongoing service improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency with Office 365 (both web and client versions).
- Experience in supporting IP telephony systems and remote shared desktop environments.
- Expertise with Active Directory, Exchange, MDM solutions, and deployment tools.
- Proven skills in troubleshooting desktop hardware, software, printers, scanners, and network equipment.
- Operational experience in problem investigation, workarounds, permanent fixes, root cause analysis, and Information Security Incident management.
- Solid understanding of change management principles, including planning and implementation.
- Proven ability to manage project-related tasks, capture knowledge for operational teams, and create work packages.
- Experience with Disaster Recovery/BCP scenarios.
- ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management or equivalent knowledge is desirable.
Salary is between €40,000 to €50,000 with an excellent benefits package and opportunity to work from home 1/2 days a week.
