We are now looking for two HR Business Partners to join us in Northampton on a full-time, permanent basis. These are hybrid roles, working up to two days per week from home.

The Role

As an HR Business Partner, you will provide strategic and operational HR support to the business, developing a first-class generalist HR service.

Ensuring all HR practices align with our objectives, standards, and values, you will provide advice on employment law, develop management information, lead complex operational tasks and manage union relationships.

You will also manage a team of up to three direct reports, oversee training and development, monitor performance and promote employee engagement and welfare.

Additionally, you will:

- Support the business in developing and implementing tactical plans
- Present recommendations based on cost/benefit analyses and HR metrics
- Assist with recruitment, selection and long-term resourcing needs
- Promote cultural improvement activities
- Ensure the consistent and fair management of company procedures

About You

To be considered as an HR Business Partner, you will need:

- Experience leading a team of HR professionals in a logistics environment or similar
- Experience of performance management, industrial relations, project management, employee relations, organisational development and business improvement
- Experience leading legal aspects of HR, from case management to guiding managers on responses to changes in legislation
- Evidence of the effective management of TUPE processes
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law
- An understanding of TUPE legislation
- A Level 5 CIPD qualification
- A full, valid driving licence (regular business travel will be required)
