We are delighted to be working with a well technology-based client on the recruitment of a Data/Backend engineer with a passion for Data and AI for an initial 7-week project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboarding and discovery of the involved systems
- Designing a data model in Azure Synapse
- Developing a bulk data ingestion ETL pipeline in Azure Data Factory
- Developing an incremental data ingestion ETL pipeline in Azure Data Factory
- Documenting the system and processes
- Conducting system testing and user acceptance testing
Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in developing applications using Python and SQL.
- Proficiency in developing applications with Azure Data Factory.
- Knowledge of back-end application server design, data modelling, architecture, and implementation.
- A solid understanding of fundamental data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
- Experience with modern software development practices and technologies, including cloud-native architectures, continuous integration, deployment, and release, as well as automated testing and quality assurance.
