A fantastic school in Swindon, Wiltshire are seeking a Youth Mental Health Advocate to join their team. The school are dedicated to building a caring and nurturing environment where students can express themselves freely while they receive the support they need while still accessing high quality education. Students attending the school are aged 5 - 15 years old and face challenges regarding social, emotional and mental health needs. The Youth Mental Health Advocate role plays a vital part within the school's community.

Key Responsibilities of a Youth Mental Health Advocate:

  • Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage students
  • Create a safe environment for students to speak freely
  • Collaborate with educational psychologists to tailor learning plans
  • Implement therapeutic techniques
  • Encourage independence and self-investigation
  • 1-1 based support and interventions

The school are excited to welcome a Youth Mental Health Advocate to improve their students' quality of education. Full training will be provided on site to the successful applicant. Previous experience is beneficial but not mandatory! The school are looking for a confident, enthusiastic candidate to help their students reach their full potential in education and society.

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30
  • £80 to £90 daily rate
