Day to Day of the Role:
- Teaching engaging Computer Science lessons to students, following the UK curriculum.
- Developing lesson plans that incorporate programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy.
- Assessing student progress, providing feedback, and setting objectives to enhance their understanding of computer science concepts.
- Managing the classroom environment to ensure a productive and safe space for learning and exploration.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to integrate technology across various subjects and contribute to the school's STEM initiatives.
- Staying abreast of the latest developments in technology and computer science education to enrich the curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience in teaching Computer Science within the UK curriculum.
- Availability to work a minimum of three days per week.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students in the subject.
- Positive observation ratings, ideally graded as ‘Good' or ‘Outstanding'.
- Willingness to complete necessary compliance checks, including Enhanced DBS and employment references.
