Audit and Accounts Senior | Top 100 Firm up to £45,000 | Kettering
AJ Chambers are seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join a Top 100 firm in Kettering.
The Role:
To provide high-quality audit, accounting, and related client services, working with minimal supervision. You will support partners and managers, deliver compliance and planning services, and contribute to the growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of audit, accounts, and tax services for corporate clients
- Review and prepare client accounts, tax returns, and VAT work
- Lead and supervise audit assignments both on-site and remotely
- Identify opportunities for added value services and assist with client queries
- Monitor job quality, meeting deadlines and budget targets
- Provide coaching and supervision to trainees
- Attend relevant training courses and stay updated on technical knowledge
- Participate in client seminars, networking, and business development
Required Skills and Experience:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems (e.g., Xero) and tax
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero
