Your new company
This well-known and respected organisation, based in central Bournemouth, are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join them for circa 3 months to assist with a busy period and backlog. You will be working in a small cash & billing team, which is part of a larger finance team, within a modern and friendly office environment.
Your new role
In your new role you will be reporting to the Finance Manager and working in a busy cash team responsible for recording all cash transactions. You will be completing reconciliations (high volumes of transactions are auto-matched) and investigating unreconciled data and queries as well as carrying out daily banking checks and money transfers. This is a busy role and will require ad hoc tasks to be completed.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have experience from a similar, busy accounting position and be able to hit the ground running to assist this organisation at a business-critical time. You will be an excellent communicator with a proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships. Excellent attention to detail and a "can do" attitude are also required.
