- Salary: Up to £36,413 per annum (incl Market Force Supplement)

About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer to inspire students and equip them with the skills they need for their future. In this role, you will deliver high-quality education and support learners in reaching their full potential, with the satisfaction that comes from guiding students on their academic and professional journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Assessment: Deliver and assess a range of courses, planning and preparing lessons to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Administrative Support: Manage essential tasks such as learner registration, attendance tracking, record-keeping, and reporting, including liaising with parents and guardians for younger students.
- Curriculum Development: Meet academic calendar requirements by developing schemes of work and lesson plans that adhere to quality and awarding body standards.
- Career Preparation: Prepare students for higher education and the workforce by developing their vocational skills and promoting employability through curriculum content and external partnerships.
- Student Engagement: Collaborate with the Personal Development team and Work Experience Officers to promote enrichment activities and work experience opportunities.
- Guidance and Pastoral Care: Provide support to students throughout their educational journey, conducting interviews, supporting enrollment processes, and facilitating positive outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain academic standards through internal quality assessments, accreditation, and liaising with accrediting bodies.
Objectives:
- Recruit students into the right courses, ensuring a positive learning experience.
- Consistently deliver excellent teaching and learning to meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with Student Services to support students and manage data accurately within your curriculum area.
- Support students in achieving their potential by setting and tracking SMART targets.
Role Requirements:
- Reporting and Collaboration: Report to the Curriculum Manager, regularly update the Programme Leader on student recruitment, achievement, attendance, and other key metrics.
- Team Engagement: Work collaboratively with curriculum and departmental teams to share best practices and support institutional goals.
