A wonderful opportunity has become available with our client based in Castle Donington to work within the busy Purchase Ledger department. The role offers the successful candidate to join a well-established business.
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you should be organised and methodical and used to working in a high volume and fast paced environment. Offering a salary up to £28,000 dependent on experience. The role is fully office based. Applicants must have recent UK purchase ledger experience.
Duties:
- Matching, batching and coding supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Reconciling supplier statements to maintain accurate accounts payable records
- Assisting with payment runs in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices
- Maintaining an organised filing system for invoices and other financial documents
- Providing excellent customer service, to meet and exceed customers' requirements
- Assisting with office duties and updating databases
- Prioritise workflow to maximise time efficiency, to meet productivity and quality targets
