Our client, a well-established not-for-profit organisation based in Sevenoaks are currently seeking a Finance Operations Manager to join them on a full time and permanent basis. This role is office based initially.
Description
The duties for the Finance Operations Manager include:
- Managing and fairly allocating workload to a Finance team of 10
- Overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Reviewing, implementing and improving financial policies and procedures
- Participating in strategic planning and decision-making at the management level
- Play a key role in providing quality provision to internal and external stakeholders
- Leading in updating current Financial software and overseeing various business improvement projects such as going paperless
Profile
The successful Finance Operations Manager should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE
- Proven experience in Financial Operational Management and reporting
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial systems
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
