JHE & Partners are delighted to be working with a local firm based in Halifax as they look to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their team. This individual will be able to start immediately however, my client is flexible for the right candidate. You will be working in a team of 4 reporting to the superb Financial Director working for a 12 million business.
Responsibilities below:
- Pure credit control role, 500 active accounts from around 1,000 accounts at any point in time. £1.6m of debtors on average
- Working closely with customer services and sales staff,
- Setting credit levels, with some Visa accounts
- Posting and allocating cash into sales ledger
- Refreshing Excel debtors list
- Excellent data entry/customer service skills
- Ad hoc duties
Applicants will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This is a permanent role, 40 hours per week, 8.30 to 5pm ½ hour for lunch.
