Senior Building Surveyor

We are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor with post-qualification experience to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a forward-thinking organisation, working across various sectors and managing a range of Building Surveying and project management duties.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Manage and deliver a range of Building Surveying and project management duties across different sectors.
- Assist with the development of new and repeat business.
- Manage client relationships and service delivery on a project-by-project basis.
- Utilise standard forms of building contracts, such as JCT and NEC.
- Stay informed on industry issues and developments in best practice.
- Deliver commissions under framework agreements.
- Conduct defect analysis, building surveys, and produce professional reports and specifications.
- Understand and apply principles of quality, health, safety, and the environment in project management.
- Contribute to business growth by identifying and developing fee-earning opportunities.
- Perform project management and contract administration duties for larger projects.
- Provide professional services such as Party Walls, asset management, and statutory applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying from a RICS Accredited degree.
- Full membership with The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB).
- Demonstrable all-round surveying experience.
- Experience in pre and post-contract project management responsibilities.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Experience in managing clients and their expectations.
