Real Estate Purchase Ledger Supervisor. OUR CLIENT is a private property investment who own a range of properties across the UK including some iconic buildings in Mayfair. They have instructed us to help them find a Purchase Ledger Supervisor.
THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES of the Purchase Ledger Supervisor:
- Managing the full accounts payable / purchase ledger function.
- Processing invoices and obtaining authorisation.
- Coding the invoices to the correct department.
- Preparing BACS runs.
- Ensuring all payments are allocated to the suppliers' accounts.
- Reconciling supplier statements to ledger balances.
- Working with the finance team to complete implementation of a system.
- Making changes / improvements and streamlining processes.
- Assisting with the preparation and posting of journals.
- Assisting with service charge reconciliations.
THE ROLE REQUIREMENTS and SKILLS for the Purchase Ledger Supervisor:
- Have at least 5 years purchase ledger experience within the property sector.
- Proven track record of managing the purchase ledger function independently.
- Experience of using a property system such as TRAMPS, MRI or YARDI.
- Strong communications skills.
