About the Role:
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4. Your role will involve:
- Developing and implementing creative lesson plans that inspire and motivate students.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality food technology lessons.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Track and report on student progress and achievement.
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Food Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
