Robert Half is partnering with a London based firm to recruit a Tax Accountant. The ideal candidate will hold ATT or CTA qualifications.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + flexible working arrangements
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing revised corporation tax returns and computations, including R&D calculations.
- Handling complex amendments to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
- Collaborating with analysts to improve tax processing capabilities and stay informed of industry best practices.
- Working closely with the software team, providing tax-related insights to aid in the development of tax processing software.
- Interacting with HMRC to respond to queries, provide necessary documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
- ATT or CTA qualification
- Proven experience with accounting software, demonstrating proficiency and understanding of financial systems.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for reviewing and processing complex tax returns.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with HMRC, clients, and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
