??Bolton - Logistic Coordinator (Maternity Cover)
?? £25k per annum Full-time, Fixed term contract
?? 8:30am-5:00pm (Hybrid).

The Company:

Our client is one of the UK's manufacturers and supply specialists, providing an end-to-end service, including concept design, product sourcing, delivery, installation, and aftercare, to the following sectors: Healthcare, Education/Higher Education, Government and Corporate.

The Role:

This role will act as support for our internal Logistics team and will take responsibility for administrative tasks, including the coordination of deliveries, owning processes to ensure all relevant shipping documentation is collected and all relevant reports are accurate, liaising with internal production teams to understand lead times, and liaising with customers and supply chain partners to ensure a first-class service is delivered.

Key responsibilities:

  • Allocating of orders as per the lead time date
  • Create loads within an X3 Sage system.
  • Respond to internal emails from various departments including procurement/production for any orders that require attention.
  • Extract data from X3 Sage system into Excel format for distribution to external working partners
  • Liaise with external delivery and installation partners to ensure all deliveries will be met within arranged timescale.
  • Raise and receipt Purchase Orders (PO) from external delivery and installation partners and any Logistics related work.
  • Liaising with customers/external working partners regarding all aspects of queries relating to Update internal system with customer delivery/installation dates.
  • Update internal system with customer delivery/installation dates.
  • Liaise with internal departments regarding any movement of orders.
  • Update individual customer delivery trackers.
  • Confirm and complete proof of deliveries (POD)
  • Investigate/conclude issues internally alongside the relevant department and our external delivery and installation partners.
  • Complete outstanding orders report from finance
  • Any additional administrative duties requested by the team

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Experience in a similar administrative role. Whilst experience within Logistics would be advantageous, this role would also suit candidates with strong administration skills who are eager to learn a new industry.
  • High level of attention to detail with the ability to work to fixed time constraints.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft office programmes.
  • Confident when liaising with customers and other internal departments.
  • Knowledge of Sage X3 would be advantageous but full training will be provided.
  • Team player - ability to flex and provide support as part of a small team.
