Position: Year 4 Teaching Assistant

Zest Education are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join the year 4 class from September 2024. The successful candidate will work closely with the Year 4 class teacher to support and enhance the learning experience of students. This role is pivotal in providing tailored support to pupils, helping to create a positive and effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students to reinforce learning.
- Help prepare and organize classroom resources and materials.
- Support the development of student's social and emotional skills.
- Monitor and record pupil's progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
- Supervise students during break and lunchtimes as required.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role or setting.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) are desirable but not essential.
