Description
- Manage all cost relating to construction projects, from initial calculations to final figures.
- Seek to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while achieving the required standards and quality.
- Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks.
- Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
- Allocate work to subcontractors.
- Provide advice on contractual claims.
- Perform risk, value management and cost control.
- Advise on a procurement strategy.
Profile
A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Knowledge of construction industry practices, processes, and standards.
- Proficient in computer software programs related to job responsibilities.
