Relief Support Worker

Are you looking for a diverse role that is fun, stimulating and rewarding every day? We are currently looking for a Relief Support Worker to join our friendly staff team.

We are looking for warm, caring and proactive Support Workers to provide quality person-centred care and support at our vibrant supported living service in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. You will be responsible for providing respectful high intensity personal care as well as practical and emotional support to individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs, mental health needs and autism. Ensuring that service users live a valued and fulfilled life. No two days will be the same at this service as our service users love to engage in a wide range of exciting activities within their homes and out in the community!

Support Worker Duties:

  • Provision of practical, emotional and behavioural support to service users,
  • Provide support to individuals with cooking, cleaning, housework and other life skills,
  • A commitment to making a positive difference in individuals lives,
  • Develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users,
  • Carry out general administrative duties and housing management tasks.

Previous care experience is essential for all Relief roles.

Candidates must have a clean, valid driving licence.

As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, which allows you to pick up shifts in any area of the country and provides information on the service, including directions. You will be paid on a weekly basis.
