About the role
As Hargreaves Lansdown (HL) continues its digital journey, we are scaling up our Security capabilities within our Microsoft Infrastructure team. We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Security Engineer with a proven track record in delivering and maintaining security infrastructure solutions within an enterprise environment, who enjoys working with a variety of technologies and people and wishes to further their career by helping us to achieve our mission.
The ideal candidate will stay ahead of the latest security trends and technologies, create vulnerability status reporting processes, and confidently communicate with stakeholders across the business. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.

About you

Previous experience working with infrastructure and some security within an enterprise environment

Experience creating vulnerability status reporting processes

Confidence in speaking with stakeholders across the business

Highly articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Well-organised with the ability to prioritise workload

Knowledge and/or experience of the following solutions -

Azure Update Manager

Microsoft Defender
-
Windows Server Update Services
-
Zero-day vulnerability remediation

Using Vulnerability Management service management tools
Desirable:
- Implementing and maintaining robust security controls
- Developing monthly patching processes, including design and documentation
- Script creation to manage high volume remediation changes
- Certified in Microsoft/Azure Security (SC-900, AZ-500, SC-200, SC-100)
- Experience working with CPSM tools
- Experienced in Golden Image creation and approvals
- AI and machine learning efficiencies
Interview process
The interview process for this role is two stages.
Salary
The salary for this role is circa £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Working Schedule
This role is based in our Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This is a permanent full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern of working in the office and at home. Ideally 2 days in the office.
