Marketing Manager

Our prestigious client, based in Shipdham, are looking for a self-motivated, creative and ambitious Marketing Manager to join their well-established team.

You will be responsible for leading Marketing & Communications across the business; managing and developing brand awareness campaigns and developing & implementing new communication methods to promote products, events and activities!

Supervising a small team of dedicated Marketeers/Administrators, you will oversee the following:

Marketing Materials: Creation of artwork - posters, company literature, adverts, etc. Managing artwork approval process from proof approval through to print. Working with external design agencies on projects as required.

Project Work: Product launches/ Promotional activity. Creating Brand Awareness.

External Agencies: PR/Design Agency management

Social Media: Developing, creating and overseeing a social media presence for all brands.

Website Analysis: Monitoring monthly Google Analytics reports and managing Google Alerts for both company and competitor activity. Understanding Consumer behaviour.

Job duties include:

  • Ensure new feeds are conceived, named, launched and marketed successfully.
  • Ensure that current ranges/products meet customer needs and are updated where necessary.
  • Attendance at shows and visits to livery yards and individuals / supported riders.
  • Market research / customer monitoring.
  • Work closely with the company Director and the Marketing company.
  • Plan & co-ordinate marketing campaigns.
  • Briefing Marketing company on future campaigns, etc with MD and Nutritionists.
  • Liaising with the sales team for feedback and briefings.
  • Generating opportunities.
  • Liaise with the Nutrition Team regarding websites, POS, product literature and updating product information.
  • Produce Management Reports.
  • Working with the Marketing company in relation to the Show Schedule for marketing and public relations opportunities.
  • Scan equestrian press for relevant articles, etc relating to our client, competitors, the feed industry, etc. with Marketing company.
  • Be pro-active and liaise with Marketing company regarding client activities for further marketing and public relations opportunities.
  • Respond to feedback from customers and ASMs regarding feeds and feed opportunities.
  • Generate stories and initiating press releases regarding changes with our client and with Marketing company and Nutritionists.
  • Review customer feedback, complaints and testimonials with Nutritionists.
  • Authorising relevant invoices.
  • Tight budget control.
