Position: New Business Development

Location: Deeside

Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Salary: £25,000 p/a plus uncapped commission

Due to growth and expansion, my client is looking for an addition to their new business development team, the ideal candidate will have outbound experience in sales, appointment-making or research, you will make outbound cold calls, to book appointments for field-based Business Development Managers.

Main duties:

  • Actively pursuing dormant prospects and Cold-calling potential customers
  • Qualifying new leads
  • Identifying opportunities by profiling potential clients using fact-finding techniques
  • Establishing decision-makers
  • Building and managing own pipeline
  • Communicating with the Field Sales Team
  • Enter and update leads and opportunities in the database
  • Skills:
  • Experience in a telesales role or similar would be desirable
  • Team worker, self-motivated, confident and capable of using their initiative.
  • Ability to identify and create opportunities.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • An ability to speak to senior managers in large organisations to generate business leads and appointments.
  • A willingness to make numerous calls with the resilience to cope with challenges and objections.
  • Must have excellent communication skills
