Reed Further Education are a leading recruitment agency working with colleges, prisons, universities, and training providers across the UK. We are looking for someone who has experience of working with young people and / or adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Learning & Support Team Leader

Crewe (some travel to Northwich when required)

Permanent, Full Time

£28,000 - £30,000 plus £3,750 car allowance

Reed are delighted to work with this training provider who have an exciting new opportunity for a Learning & Support Team Leader to take the lead for ensuring high quality learning support is planned and provided.

The learners are aged 16-25 years old, and the training provider works with businesses to help employees gain new skills and progress in their careers.

Day to Day of the role;

Be responsible for overseeing the caseload of learners who have an EHCP and will provide support and guidance to colleagues to ensure the best possible SEND support is provided to learners across provisions.

To support the development and implementation of the SEND strategy and related policies.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with and supporting learners with EHCP
  • Hold a SEND qualification at Level 5 or above (or willing to work towards).
  • Experience of working with internal & external agencies to identify, plan, deliver and evaluate EHCP provision.
  • Sound knowledge of GDPR and information sharing.
  • Understanding of the legislation, local and national guidance in relation to SEND and LDD.
  • Level 2 in maths and English or equivalent or willing work towards.
  • Relevant experience of carrying out administrative duties
