Aspire People is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as 1:1 Teaching Assistants in Rugby. We have three full-time positions available, starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are passionate about making a difference in students' lives by providing the extra support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to students requiring additional assistance in their learning and development.
Work closely with classroom teachers to implement tailored learning plans.
Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Help students with their academic and personal development.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary.
Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and ensure they have access to the curriculum.
Facilitate student engagement and participation in classroom activities.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role is preferred.
A passion for working with children and supporting their educational needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a flexible attitude.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or child care are desirable.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
