This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated and capable Executive Assistant to join a successful and growing homebuilder, located close to Leeds and York. The company does more than build houses - it creates homes where families can live their "happily ever after". The role reports into the MD and will be supporting two senior directors. The overall purpose of the Executive Assistant position, is to provide accurate, skilled and confidential support to company directors and additionally to take ultimate responsibility for the Administration team.

Selected Accountabilities within the Executive Assistant role include:

  • Providing accurate and confidential support to company Directors.
  • Communicating the business priorities to the Administration Team effectively, holding individuals to account.
  • Being an advocate of the company values of being: customer centric, supportive, ambitious, passionate and transparent. Leading by example and practicing these values in all that you do.
  • Being Accountable for PDR reviews and bringing them in line with the strategic direction of the business.
  • Partnering with the HR function where necessary to effectively manage performance, absence and conduct concerns.
  • Supporting the Executive Leadership Team, whereby enabling them to carry out their roles efficiently.
  • Managing the smooth running of the Administration function / office management.
  • Partnering with the HR function to ensure that HR processes are followed and HR administration / employee files are maintained to a high standard.
  • Diary management including all aspects of meeting organisation, including maintenance of the Corporate Calendar.
  • Booking travel and accommodation arrangements and liaising with ELT on any personal arrangements required.
  • Liaising with third parties to ensure all arrangements run smoothly.
  • Receiving and hosting directors' guests at HQ meetings.
  • Preparing and distributing meeting reports, such as Board Packs, including collating contributions from others on time and ensuring they are to the expected standard.
