Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of the company's mortgage intermediary business. Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with mortgage brokers, financial advisors, and other key stakeholders, the primary focus will be to promote mortgage products, identify new business opportunities, and ensure exceptional service delivery to partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand the company's presence in the mortgage intermediary market.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with mortgage brokers, financial advisors, and other industry professionals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential partnerships and collaborations.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to prospective partners and clients.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to brokers and advisors to ensure they are well-informed about the company's mortgage products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align strategies and achieve business goals.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of business development activities, including sales metrics and market feedback.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and expand the professional network.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a business development or sales role within the mortgage intermediary industry.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending criteria, and the regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
