Salary Range: £21,450 - £25,350 per annum

Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) seeking a rewarding opportunity in a primary school setting? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join our team at a vibrant primary school in Harlow.

About the Role:

As a HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning within our school's Additional Resource Provision (ARP). Your responsibilities will include providing high-quality support to teachers, delivering pre-planned lessons, leading small group activities, and supporting individual students' learning needs. You will work closely with the teaching team to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where all students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
  • Lead small group activities and interventions to support students' progress
  • Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment as required
  • Provide support for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers
  • Contribute to the overall ethos and success of the school community
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:15 - 16:00

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience (HLTA Status not compulsory)
  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards learning
  • Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children
