The main responsibilities of the Air Quality role include conducting assessments for air quality, dust, and odour. This involves using ADMS software for dispersion modelling of road and industrial emissions, as well as creating Dust Management Plans. Additionally, the role involves contributing to Environmental Permit Applications and preparing factual and interpretative reports

To be considered for the position, candidates must hold a degree in Geography, environmental science, or a relevant subject. They should also possess an understanding of air quality issues and legislation, dispersion modelling theory, and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Additionally, strong written and communication skills, proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, the ability to work within deadlines and budgets, and a full UK driving licence are required.
