Description
- Manage all direct tax matters for the company
- Oversee and ensure accurate tax compliance and reporting
- Act as the key contact for tax authorities
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure tax efficiency
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals
- Stay updated on tax legislation changes and industry trends
- Assist in ad-hoc tax projects as required
Profile
A successful Direct Tax Specialist should have:
- A degree in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional tax or accounting qualification
- Comprehensive knowledge of direct tax and compliance
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
