A high-growth start-up software business in Richmond is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their team. The firm provides software services to companies throughout Europe and has an international presence in both California and Melbourne to service clients in the US and APAC regions.
Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for managing the bookkeeping of the business and will be required to travel to the Richmond Upon Thames HQ at least twice a month:Your responsibilities:
- Review and maintain sales, purchase and general ledgers- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Processing expenses
- Post and review month end journals
- Complete and review VAT returns
- Assist with managing payroll
- Assist with preparing management accounts
- Handling customer invoice queries
- Work with the Finance Director to ensure financial record keeping is kept to a high standard
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position you will have a proven track record of carrying out bookkeeping duties. You will be experienced with good double entry knowledge up to trial balance. You will be confident in using cloud-based software as well as advising on how to streamline processes. You will have good communication skills and be enthusiastic.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £40,000 along with 23 days' holiday plus 8 bank holidays. This is a hybrid role, working 1 to 2 days in the office a month.
