A global investment bank is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join the team on a fulltime permanent basis due to an internal move.
They are based in Liverpool street in the heart of the financial district and offer hybrid working with 3 days on site per week.
This exciting role sits in group finance within global markets so there is a great opportunity to speak to some senior stakeholders within the front office.
The ideal candidate would be CCAB qualified but they will consider a finalist also. If you are part qualified but have management accounting experience within banking, this would also be of interest.
Key Responsibilities
- Involvement in the production of the monthly dashboards for GMD London
- Liaise with GMD Finance to ensure the regular monthly production of detailed dashboards
- Produce monthly from Keops (local database tool) information (inc by client) revenues by product Line
- To produce monthly an estimate by Country and by Business of Net Banking Income (NBI) as and when required.
- To consolidate monthly all client revenues to include Financing Activities and Capital Markets data by product line and by entity including year to date and monthly movements.
- Prepare analysis of the GMD Roadshow process
- Processing of monthly Profit Splits and analysis thereon
- Participate in the Annual budget process liaising with GMD European COO and local GMD COO
- Assist in the reconciliation process of revenues between management control and Financial control
- Produce monthly reconciliation of trading revenues between RPC mam reports and local accounting
- Produce the monthly contractor's accruals
- Produce to the Forecast on London contractors
- Contribute to Paris forecast process where necessary (D-15 and Yearly forecast)
- Participation to the improvement of the current actuals process (procedures, reports writing)
The ideal candidate
- CCAB qualified accountant
- At least 2-3 years management accounting experience
- A proactive learner and self-starter and be autonomous in the tasks allocated to you
- Strong analytical mind
- Excellent oral, communication, and written skills
- Ability to deal with multi tasks and work within a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Experience within a professional services or large corporate environment would be desirable
- Experience in building report modelling by using Excel / Visual Basic, Power BI is an advantage
