Finance Officer
Hampstead (Belsize Park)
£40,000 per annum + excellent benefits
An extremely well respected and established organisation based within walking distance of Belsize Park station is looking to recruit an experienced Finance Officer.
You will be a positive, dynamic and enthusiastic Finance Officer, who will manage the organisationsday to day financial operations. The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational, administrative, communication and IT skills, and most importantly a willingness to learn.
The Finance Officer is responsible for all day-to-day financial operations within the organisation's finance office including Payroll.
The nature of the role is such that duties are varied and may include but are not limited to the following:
- Day-to-day financial accounting and treasury management including reconciliations
- Management accounts and reports preparations
- Billing and credit control
- Responsible for timely administration of invoices, payments, receipts, including records on the financial management systems
- Responsible for recording and monitoring daily banking transactions (including cash, credit cards and cheques) and for recording this in an accurate and timely manner.
- Oversight of all payroll activities
- Management of departmental budgets and preparing cash-flow forecasts
- Purchase ordering and managing of resources
- Assisting and deputising for line manager as necessary with all aspects of general management and office administration.
