Full time hours on a temporary basis
- Responsibility as the Housing and Social Investment Directorate's lead point of contact for all Data Protection queries, providing general advice, support and training to raise awareness and understanding of responsibilities in relation to Data Protection and associated legislation.
- Co-ordinate and manage responses to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, Subject Access requests (SAR) and any requests for personal information under the Data Protection Act/GDPR.
- Act as the lead point of contact, support staff in reporting and management of Data Breaches, including containment and follow on improvement activity.
- Maintain a Data Governance risk register with delivery of associated mitigation. • Work with the relevant service areas to deliver Data Protection Impact Assessments when initiating a project.
