Business Development Executive Role & Responsibilities:
- Qualify customer requirements and identify the appropriate products to suit their applications.
- Manage a portfolio of dormant, non-spending and lapsed accounts to develop relationships and create growth
- Interpret customer specifications and drawings accurately.
- Process enquiries using in-house database.
- Generate and monitor enquiries for production facilities and subcontractors.
- Generate quotations using the mainframe SAP system.
- Provide technical product support to both colleagues and customers.
- Become a product champion for a specific range of products (in-house training provided).
Business Development Executive Skills and Experience:
- Detail-oriented with the ability to self-manage and motivate.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills in person, by phone, and email.
- Confident and adaptable problem-solver with a customer-centric attitude.
- Proficient in using a computer and software packages.
- Professionalism and commercial awareness are essential.
- Experience with SAP is preferred but not essential.
